Senator Rand Paul introduces EB-5 Legislation

(Source:EB-5 Investment Coalition) Senator Paul just introduced a bill, S. 2122, The Invest In Our Communities Act.  This bill combines the integrity measures found in S. 1501 the Grassley/Leahy bill and other programmatic changes similar to H.R. 616 the Polis/Amodei bill.   Some of the key changes include:

-       Permanent reauthorization of the Regional Center Program
-       Elimination of Derivative Family Members from the Quota
-       Additional Visa Numbers for the EB-5 Category
-       Elimination of Certain Per Country Quotas

The bill does not change the existing TEA language or the amount of the invest.
