EB-5 market slides as Yuan devalues in China

Economy in China is significantly slowing down as Chinese government devalues Yuan. Chinese stock market is now at its lowest bottom in last five years. For the EB-5 investor program, these are not good signs since 85% investors have been from China. It now costs much more for investors to prepare their investment funds. As the market becomes more difficult and challenging, Chinese migration agents and investors are now  more interested in projects with I-924 and/or I-526 approvals. The Chinese EB-5 market is already seen slowing down due to various economic and political reasons (Chinese government has restricted officials of all levels and their family members for overseas settlements). While EB-5 business might be slower,  more Chinese real estate developers and private equity firms are interested in exploring and seeking investment opportunities in the US.
